Australian Blackened Death Unit, Oath of Damnation recently filmed a Bass Playthrough video for the track “Ardenti Haereticus” off their most recent album, ‘Fury and Malevolence’
Bassist/Vocalist Pahl “Doomsayer” Hodgson added: “Ardenti Haereticus is one of the more epic songs you’ll find on Fury and Malevolence, and one of my favourite songs from that album to play. It pretty much has all the elements that we incorporate into our style on the one track. From slow, doomier parts to fast blackened death and also progressive sections. Whilst I love tearing out that primal low end savagery in our more aggressive parts, it’s still great to show off a more technical side to my playing, and Ardenti Haereticus is a great example on this album for that.”
